We work across mechanical, electrical, controls, rigging and lifting interfaces—from installation and commissioning through testing, maintenance, upgrades and long-term support.
TALK TO HALCYON
01 / CAPABILITY
Practical capability. A complete-system view.
Specialist equipment rarely operates in isolation. Its performance depends on how it is installed, supported, powered, controlled and used.
Halcyon brings those elements together, working across individual equipment packages and the wider systems they form part of.
RIGGING & LIFTING
Installation, inspection and testing of rigging and lifting equipment, including associated anchor points and supporting interfaces.
EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION & RELOCATION
Installation, relocation and integration of specialist equipment, with attention to mechanical, electrical and control requirements.
MECHANICAL & ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS
Installation, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of machinery and equipment where mechanical and electrical functions work together.
ELECTRICAL & CONTROLS INTEGRATION
Electrical installation and controls integration, including equipment interfaces, commissioning, fault diagnosis and upgrades.
SPECIALIST MAINTENANCE & TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Planned maintenance, investigation of recurring faults and practical support for equipment requiring specialist knowledge.
02 / ENTERTAINMENT CHAIN HOISTS
Halcyon supports entertainment chain hoists and their associated rigging and control systems, from installation and commissioning through inspection, testing, certification, maintenance and repair.
Our capability includes:
• Inspection, testing and certification.
• Planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Installation and commissioning.
• Integration with hoist controls and associated systems.
• Training in operation, routine checks and equipment care.
• Equipment supply to support project and operational requirements.
03 / TESTING & CERTIFICATION
Testing, verification and certification.
Halcyon undertakes in-house testing and certification of equipment and systems, from routine rigging inspections through load testing, electrical certification and verification of installation requirements.
IN-HOUSE CAPABILITY
• Rigging checks, tagging and scheduled certification, including quarterly inspection and certification programmes.
• Load testing and certification of load ratings for equipment, rigging and anchor points, undertaken on site or in a workshop or laboratory setting as appropriate.
• Testing and certification of safety systems relating to controls and equipment design.
• Electrical testing and certification.
• Verification and certification of installations against manufacturer requirements.
SPECIALIST PARTNER CERTIFICATION
Where additional specialist certification is required, Halcyon coordinates with established partners, including for structural certification and higher-level functional safety certification.
The testing and certification scope is defined for the equipment, installation and project requirements.
04 / HOW WE WORK
Understand the requirement. Follow it through.
